Apple bourbon blondie skillet Apple blondie
6 tablespoons salted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon cinna- mon
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda 1 chopped apple

Apple topping 1 teaspoon butter 3 cups chopped apples 1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons bourbon ice cream
Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Melt the butter on low heat, then transfer to a mixing bowl. 3. Add brown sugar and whisk to combine. 4. Add the vanilla extract and egg and whisk until incorporated. 5. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients. 6. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until combined. 7. Fold in chopped apples. 8. Pour blondie batter into four, 4-inch cast iron skillets
9. Melt butter in skillet. Add apples and brown sugar and cook until sugar is melted and apples are soft. Add bourbon and cook for another minute.
10. Add blondies to oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
11. Allow blondies to cool for about 30 minutes (it will continue to cook a little as it cools), then top with cinnamon apples, ice cream and caramel sauce.
