Decorate a tree like a pro


❚ Get organized, grouping like items together


❚ If using an artificial tree, fluff each tree branch to make it full


❚ Arrange lights in an S-pattern on the tree, instead of wrapping around the tree


❚ Tuck swoops of sheer and solid wired ribbon, or tufts of mesh ribbon, into the branches


❚ Add fillers like florals and picks


❚ Tuck bigger ornaments deeper into the tree


❚ Hang smaller ornaments on the out- side and deeper into the tree


❚ Step back to check empty spots and make sure the same ornaments are not together


❚ Make a topper with floral picks, using tall stick-like florals first, then a shorter, drooping layer


❚ Add a focal point to the topper, wiring it to the front of the tree
