Pony Rides Deen City Farm 22 Dec-6 Jan Tues-Fri, 12pm Sat and Sun, 12pm and 3pm For children aged 7 and under, a riding adventure. Rides cost £2 and are operated on a first come, first served basis.


Handmade Christmas Morden Library 22 December, 11am-12noon Get crafty in this Polka Theatre workshop and create some sparkling seasonal decorations using everyday objects. Booking required at the library.


Winter Wildlife Workshops London Wetland Centre 22-24 Dec, 29 Dec-9 Jan Holiday activities include making a bird feeder, birdwatching walk and storytelling. Normal admission applies.


Tales and Trails: The Fabularium Kew Gardens 22 Dec-6 Jan Go on an outdoor adventure with Grimbert the Badger and Reynard the Fox. www.kew.org


Fairy Tale Trail Kingston Until 30 December Pick up a Fairy Tale Trail map from the leaflet racks on Clarence Street or at Market Place. Each location shows a famous fairy tale. Use the map to find and guess all the fairy tales and write your answers on the trail leaflet.
