Horse Association (CQHA) is a national affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association. Our mandate, designed to re-activate the CQHA, was approved at the AQHA Annual Convention held March 3, 2001 at New Orleans, LA, and revised in 2017, is as follows:
The CQHA Affiliate’s gen- eral purposes shall be:
• the promotion and welfare of the American Quarter Horse; • to provide beneficial servicefor

concerns to AQHA and, if appli- cable and appropriate, the Cana- dian government; and • promote, both internationally
