he search is on to find the winners of the 2019 BETA Business Awards –people and companies who have


gone that extra mile to support the equestrian industry. There are 11 awards and consumers have the chance to nominate winners in four of the 10 categories –SEIB Retailer of the Year, STUBBS ENGLAND Nutritional Helpline of the Year, The Equestrian Event of the Year supported by Henson Franklyn and the TSM Social Media Award.


SEIB RETAILER


OF THE YEAR Customers of equestrian shops – bricks- and-mortar and online – are invited to nominate retailers they feel offer an excellent service for the SEIB Retailer of the Year title. For doing so, they are automatically entered into a prize draw to win a Collegiate leather bridle if their nominee makes it through to the shortlist. “SEIB is proud to have supported


this award from the start,” said Nicolina Mackenzie, the company’s marketing manager. “We have watched the number of entries grow over the years and, as this award is voted for by customers, it is a true reflection of the level of service that retailers offer. We are delighted to be able to put something back into the trade and helps celebrate excellence.” Retailers can be put forward for the


award by completing a nomination form in-store or making an online nomination at retaileroftheyear.org.uk. The deadline for submissions is 26 November 2018.


STUBBS ENGLAND NUTRITIONAL


HELPLINE OF THE YEAR Feed company helplines are a great source of expert dietary advice. Consumers who have been on the


receiving end of this and benefited from feeding information and outstanding customer service can nominate a company for the STUBBS ENGLAND Nutritional Helpline of the Year title. “As a company that produces a wide


range of essential equine equipment – including the famous STUBBS ENGLAND feed scoop, range of mangers and hay feeders – we are extremely pleased to take up the sponsorship of this award,” said STUBBS ENGLAND managing director Chris Bradwell. “By doing so, we are reinforcing the important role that nutritional helplines play in helping owners to give their equines the best diet possible.” Nomination forms can be found online

Tim Henson, of Henson Franklyn, said: “Having been involved in the equestrian event industry for 30 years, it seems only right that we play our part in helping BETA award a prize to the best event of the year. Henson Franklyn works at many of these and we feel that this sponsorship is our chance to say thank you to them.” Nominations should be made by
