our usual summer excursion. Back East it had snowed all week and the area was nicely blanketed
with
the white stuff. My girls were really excited to see all the white fluffy snow. From inside the house it looked so inviting.

Fresh snow is beautiful. However, on our first day there is was extremely
cold outside. But there was to be no delay and early that first morning they insisted on going out to play.
Our relatives told us the cold is no big deal and that
all we had to do was dress in layers.
