A stunning, innovative vision of space
The Pollastri family had a clear idea of their dream home, but only basic drawings to show their builders. Fortunately, L&E (Lofts & Extensions) were able to interpret their wishes and create exactly what they wanted

ith a raft of innovative ideas and a fantastic Lofts & Extensions (L&E) building team, have
achieved their vision of a stunning, contemporary space. The Pollastris knew their Kingston home had the scope to be something special and started the search for a building company 18 months before the project began. Ricardo read about L&E in a local magazine and arranged a meeting to chat through possible concepts. “I’m an engineer and a very details orientated person,” he explains. “We spent a long time planning and researching exactly what we wanted. We were looking for something striking and contemporary to contrast with the old part of the property and we didn’t want to cut corners or compromise.” The vision was to create a large open- plan room with clean exposed steels, whilst
lines and no maintaining
ceiling height to maximise the feeling of space.
