Glenesk

Academic expectations are high at Tormead, with Sixth Form pupils being offered places at the most competitive universities. Tormead’s aim is to attain this success through enjoyable and well-taught lessons in a happy, friendly and relaxed school. The teaching offers breadth and challenge and ensures that each girl gains a firm foundation to her education, providing her with the core skills and knowledge that will prepare her for life beyond school. Extra- curricular involvement is seen as an aspect of the girls’ lives which is vital to their holistic development and complementary to their academic enrichment and pastoral support. Why not find out more? Their staff and pupils would welcome the opportunity to meet you and give you a tour of their facilities. Please take up our invitation to attend one of Tormead’s Open Mornings. If you are unable to come to an Open Morning, please telephone 01483 796040 or email registrar@tormeadschool.org.uk

Hoe Bridge is a leading IAPS co-educational nursery, pre-preparatory and preparatory school. Sitting in 22 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Woking, Hoe Bridge is family style co-ed school with an extremely good reputation and in the most recent inspection was very proud to receive a grade of ‘excellent’. The Pre-Prep department is a stunning development creating space and light for the youngest children with the Nursery operating five full days. Cranleigh’s dedicated boarding community is enjoying a period of new building and refurbishment across all ages, enhancing the boarding facilities across both campus. The Prep School’s beautiful new academic building, Townsend, will launch in the summer and boarding facilities will be enhanced and expanded to meet increased demand before the new academic year. This year the Senior school opened a new girls’ boarding house, Rhodes, and launched plans for a fourth girls’ house to be established over the next two years. This continued development and investment in boarding facilities underlines Cranleigh’s position as Surrey’s most mature co- educational boarding environment. A new academic building, the van Hasselt Centre, will open in September 2018. The van Hasselt, named after a former Headmaster, will house a suite of humanities classrooms, careers offices and a dedicated English resource library. A large glass-roofed café space will also be included, providing an area for social activities and the collaborative learning and seminars.
