The Jumpers in the Hill Country
Schooling Show, held June 9 at Drip- ping Springs Ranch Park, was a great day, with gorgeous horses, excited rid- ers, shopping, and good food! Ground poles champions were Ava Hugo (Jr) and Martha Bohls (Sr), and cross rails champs were Quidley Kellerman (Jr) and Ann Vanderburg (Sr). 2’ winners were Katelyn Wasson (Jr) and Emma James (Sr), while 2’3” winners were Lourdes Frontera (Jr) and tie-Alexandria Smith/Madeline Kirkpatrick/Loree Magnum (Sr). 2’6” champs were Lour- des Frontera (Jr) and Kayshawna Mon- tano (Sr). For the 2’9” and 3’ division champs were the same, Jillian Clark (Jr) and Minna Harmon (Sr).

Dolly Wallace, Bosque Farms,
NM, was chosen to participate in the adult trainers division of the Extreme Mustang Makeover, with competition to be September 6-8 in Fort Worth. She picked up her chosen horse, a 4-year-old grulla gelding, May 18 in Paul Valley, OK. She named him Blessed. Though of course he was nervous at first, she has worked daily and he has progressed rel- atively well so far.
