Summer House Sounds Euston Park
THE Spa Pavilion Theatre, or should that be Sherwood Forest, will be filled with innuendo and rude jokes this October, when Wayne Burns and his cast of scoundrels take to the stage with a pantomime, especially for grown-up’s. The over 18’s adult
SUFFOLK’S Euston Park is welcoming a brand-new series of nationwide concerts this July with Summer House Sounds. Presented by Cuffe and Tay-
lor, Summer House Sounds is about bringing music to the peo- ple in unique and beautiful loca- tions. And Euston Park will see
headline concerts and perfor- mances from music legend Tom Jones, British pop icons Mad- ness, and the world’s most suc- cessful classical crossover group Il Divo. The Euston Park Summer
House Sounds series is: July 5th – Il Divo, July 6th – Tom Jones, July 7th – Madness Cuffe and Taylor director Peter Taylor said: “We’re espe-
cially pleased to be bringing Summer House Sounds to Euston Park. We successfully brought two sell-out shows to Euston last year with Cliff Rich- ard and Ball and Boe, so we are thrilled to be returning in 2018. This is a stunning location and we look forward to presenting three very different nights of outstanding live music.” Tickets to all Summer House
Sounds concerts are available from

pantomime entitled Throbbin Hood, has been written and produced by Leiston Film Theatre manager, Wayne Burns, under the ‘Team B Productions’ title. With quill in hand, Wayne spent many months putting together the madcap medieval romp, which was originally performed as a three-night, sell-out run at the Leiston’s prestigious cinema and theatre in September 2016, to the enjoyment of all those who were lucky enough to get tickets. Shortly after, Wayne was
invited to bring the show to the stage of Felixstowe’s popular Spa Pavilion Theatre, which re-opened its doors in 2015 and now, the cast are busily
preparing for their outing to the seaside on Friday 26th October, for the special one- off performance at 8.00pm. In this saucy version of the
familiar tale of Nottingham’s favourite outlaw, Robin and his band of very Merry Men take the fair Maid Marian into their fold, when the ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham decides that he wants to imprison her at his castle on the hill for his own pleasure! Luckily, Robin is aided by Friar Tuck, who has a dirty habit and the not so little John, to help rescue Robin’s one true love. The cast, all of whom
are experienced am-dram performers and who have volunteered their time to join Wayne on stage and raise a chuckle or two, are looking forward to supporting the venue and bringing the show to a larger stage. Tickets are already proving very popular, with over 150 tickets already sold. “I’d been threatening to
pen this panto for a few years and I was surprised when a number of like-minded fellow performers offered their services to help bring
this risqué adventure to the stage. We had an absolute blast performing the show in Leiston and look forward to giving our Felixstowe audience a darn good laugh. We’re all thrilled to be given this opportunity to perform at such a great venue.” said Wayne. Belle Coaches
are
operating a Throbbin Hood excursion, with numerous collections between Lowestoft and Ipswich. For more details, please visit: www.

working on Team B’s next pantomime for grown-ups, Rude Riding Hood, which appears at the Leiston Film Theatre in September 2019, with tickets on sale from Monday 3rd December. For more details, please visit:
