On Friday 22nd June, eight of the Club's Past Presidents were delighted to have the company of current President John Spittal at their annual dinner which, this year, took place in the Alexander Suite at the Best Western Scores Hotel. Sadly, for various reasons, four of the Past Presidents - Ewen Allan, who had organised the event, George Donaldson, Wilda McKinnon and Angus Peters were unable to attend. It was a lovely evening and the view throughout dinner was glorious and we could see a number of surfers enjoying the gentle waves in the bay. An enjoyable meal was had by all and whilst the chat was sometimes serious, a glass or two of wine ensured there was lots of laughter, fun and great fellowship along the way. At the end of the meal the group retired to the home of Gordon Mackenzie where the chat and laughter continued into the wee small hours. A great night was had by all and sincere thanks go to Ewen.
