LIVE 24-SEVEN - MUSIC

MUS IC & F I LM WITH ED & GEMMA

Heart Breakfast

Shout out to June for getting us feeling ready for summer

So the wedding of the year has been and gone (LOVED seeing Harry & Meghan tie the knot!) and now we’re giving a shout out to June for fully getting us feeling ready for summer. It’s the official first day of summer this month and that pleases us greatly! Is there anything better than sunshine, BBQs and long sunny evenings with friends and family? We think not!

Heart Breakfast’s been turning up the summer vibes already, we’re loving some of the old classics belting out the speakers right now. Will Smith’s ‘Miami’? sounds ace!

What better way to get into the summer mood than live music though, eh? Birmingham is the place to be for some of our favourite artists in June. Camila Cabello’s smashing it right now (listeners, and us, have been obsessed with ‘Never Be The Same’) and she’s bringing her tour to the city on the 6th June. Have you seen some of her live performances? Those vocals are incredible! Find us front and centre getting our groove on to ‘Havana’ for sure.

Another superstar taking to the stage this month… Katy Perry! We are SO excited for this! She’s known for putting on some incredible shows with everything from inflatable horses and suspended spaceships to every coloured wig under the sun. The ‘Firework’ singer’s show at Arena Birmingham on the 18th will be a spectacle to say the least.

Then it’ll be time for one of the biggest acts to ever step foot in Brum (and one of our all-time faves!) - Justin Timberlake will be coming to Arena Birmingham this month. We have him for TWO NIGHTS! Yes, we’re excited for this one. We’ve seen the tweets from fans who’ve already seen the show in the US and can’t wait for it to be our turn. Ever the perfectionist, we’re expecting great things from JT. His Man of The Woods Tour will be at Arena Birmingham on the 27th and 28th. We can’t wait to hear the new stuff but really looking forward to the throwbacks he’ll pepper in. After all, on Heart we’re still obsessed with the likes of ‘Sexyback’, and ‘Rock Your Body’. JT, Brum loves you!

So, dust off your dancing shoes and grab your mates – we’re in store for some serious footwork this month if these gigs are anything to go by!
