Introducing Metin a luxury women’s accessories label, specialising in handbags and small leather goods. London-born artist Metin Salih and entrepreneur Mustafa Kondoz, co-founded the brand as a response to a shared passion for luxury, bespoke products and the desire to create a brand that champions quality and craftsmanship.
METIN's mission is to combine aesthetic excellence with an empowering message through art and play; they believe that colour and expression break down the walls of mundanity, to create a more exciting world.
The progression from canvas to leather is just part of Metin’s journey. The support he received from Mustafa allowed this dream to finally become a reality after years of working on bespoke commissions and finally combining art and fashion in unique timeless pieces.
Every piece in the first collection is created around an original artwork from Metin Salih’s archive, each digitally printed onto expertly constructed leather accessories. Beautiful Imperfection features our most iconic femme fatale, Marilyn Monroe; whilst Goldie speaks the language of love through its Sin City lips motif. Cosmic Girl epitomises the women of the world today: out of this world, passionate, loving and wild.

When Creative Director Metin Salih was just 13 years old he was discovered by an advertising executive whilst working at the family run fish & chip shop. His work was displayed on the wall of the shop, sketched on chip paper and the rest is history. He has since worked with global advertising agencies such as Procter & Gamble and Saatchi & Saatchi illustrating and designing campaigns for the world's major brands. Salih has also had an amazing career as a portrait artist with commissions from Stormzy and Maxi Priest. For personal reasons charities have always been close to Salih’s heart. Recently donating a piece to the Fashion For Relief.
The philosophy of the brand focuses on timelessness in design, whilst
attention to
the highest quality materials and finishing are central to the construction of every piece. From the beginning of sampling to final product, METIN works with skilled craftsmen, tanneries and metal smith artisans to create impeccably crafted products.
