Fête du Citron February 20 – March 3, 2019 This zesty carnival revolves around lemons and their role in making Menton one of Europe’s key citrus growers. The organic displays are astounding, combining the festival’s namesake with its orange cousin for an eye-popping
Mediterranean sensation. To make it even more fun, there’s a chosen theme every year. This year saw a wealth of Bollywood- inspired creations, including an orange elephant and fruity replica of the Taj Mahal, and we can only imagine what’s in store for 2019. Whatever the case, it’s the perfect way to dust off those winter cobwebs and welcome in the warmer months.
