Events Worthy Design To Dine!

March 13, 2018 – Pennsauken, NJ - The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) Philadelphia, South Jersey and Delaware chapter and International Live Events Association (ILEA) Greater Philadelphia chapter created a partnership and competition, “Design to Dine,” that brought together the event and hospitality industry for a creative evening at South Jersey Party Rentals’ offices.

During this March meeting, guests gathered at South Jersey Party Rentals to not only celebrate their 20th anniversary, but also to browse the host’s collection of items that have made countless events a reality for clients throughout the area, and to provide an opportunity for industry professionals to gather, share news on the latest develop- ments, and find out what other members are working on.

Attendees moved throughout the warehouse enjoying food and bev- erages until it Drexelbrook Catering's turn to wow the crowd. A tented area was set up for interactive dinner stations made to order, as well as dancing; at least, it was mostly set up! Attendees were chal- lenged to create their own tablescapes based on varying themes, and using flatware and linens provided by South Jersey Party Rentals (SJPR). It definitely was an exciting and unique way to start dinner (especially since everyone was being timed!). Announcements were made, awards were presented, dinner was served, and the party got

started! It was definitely one of the most memorable NACE events, as Drexelbrook created a flavorful and show-stopping event menu. From Seared Rare Sesame-Crusted Tuna Loin with Roasted Asian Pear to the Slow Braised Beef Short Rib set atop Blue Cheese Infused Soft Polenta with Grilled Asparagus and Double Nickel Brewing Co. Belgian Pale Ale Reduction with Fresh Herb – and more!

"I really wanted to set the bar high with this event being our 20th Anniversary, so a joint meeting with NACE and ILEA was a must! SJPR has become so much more than a tent company that also does rentals. It was truly a joy to step back and watch so many event pros put their hands on our product and make beautiful designs" stated Jason M. Campisi of South Jersey Party Rentals Inc.
