The Silver Travis Band consists of orig-

inal members Randall Calvert on lead guitar and vocals; Mike Satterfield on drums; and Joseph Parrish on bass; along with area fa- vorites Carey Upton on keyboards and vocals and Daniel Jackson on guitar and vocals. Next time the band plays near you, I suggest you check ‘em out, and by all means follow them on Facebook and their website at silver- travis.com. Styx REO Speedwagon Don Felder Bon Secour Wellness Center Greenville, SC April 7, 2018 It was truly a classic rock night in

Greenville on April 7, with a concert that started at 7 and went until after 11. The show was close to being sold out and the fans were really into the con- cert. Don Felder came out rocking a white suit and sounded amazing. His all-star band con- sisted of touring mu- sicians who had played with everyone from Ozzy Os-

bourne to David Gilmour. Don’s sig- nature lead guitar was the con- stant. His vocals were solid and I must give kudos to the sound men for the entire show. All three acts sounded great and the mix was perfect. Over the years I have been to many concerts were the sound was weak for the opening acts but in this show there was no drop off at all in the sound qual- ity.

songs he had played with them, and it sounded just like the recording. The high- light of his show was when he did,” Seven Bridges Road” which he said was the back stage warm up song for the Eagles back in the day. The crowd went wild and the harmony was tight. A treat for me was hearing the “Heavy Metal.”.I didn’t remember that Don did that song for the animated movie. An- other treat was Tommy Shaw from Styx play- ing banjo on “Take it Easy”. “Hotel California” was the last song and

he started the song off by asking the audience if they recognized his guitar. He brought out the double neck guitar he used to play the song that was also used on the video. Tommy Shaw and some members of REO Speed- wagon joined Don on stage for his final num- ber. He did nine songs, all hits and without a lot of time in between songs. Very smooth and I really enjoyed his performance.
