It never ceases to amaze me that, as soon as the sun comes out, it's accompanied by a display of red and sunburned bodies. It’s not as if we haven’t been warned of the dangers of getting sunburned and how it can lead to skin cancer. But the truth is many of us still aren’t using adequate sun protection. I know it can be difficult. I’ve been caught short


myself a few times, when I’ve been out in the sun longer than I expected and haven’t had a bottle of sunscreen to


hand. But this year I’m determined to stay safe using products from my local Careway pharmacy. In this issue we have lots of information about keeping your skin safe in


the sun (page 8). We even have a quiz to test your knowledge of sun protection facts – give it a whirl to find out how sun safety aware you really are (page 35). Brushing up your sun awareness will stand you in good stead if you’re
