Working Together
On a regular basis the Inner Wheel Club of Coventry works closely with the Rotary Club of Coventry. We attend each other’s events and the ladies of the Inner Wheel provide the refreshments for their annual Youth Speak event. Our presidents also attend the monthly council meeting. It was at one of these meetings that it was agreed that Rotary would organise a Bucket Collection and all the proceeds would go to charities selected by Inner Wheel.
So, on Saturday 16th October members of our Inner Wheel club joined forces with The Rotary Club of Coventry at Morrisons in Binley, Coventry to raise funds for Inner Wheel charities. It was a cold day but at least we were under cover so were not affected by the rain. This was the first time that we have joined with Rotary in this way and we thank them for their help and support. It was nice to see families with children encouraging the young ones to drop money in the buckets. Well done to everyone.
