However big ISE gets, the reality is that the average visitor only stays for two days. With 1200 exhibitors, getting around all of it is nigh on impossible. Selec- tivity is the name of the game for ISE. If we were only going for two days, this is what we would go and see, helpfully (we hope) arranged by technology and/or application.

Display Innovations New ultra-fine pixel pitch LED video wall
Christie (1-H70): You know it’s going to be stunning before you even get there, but it’s still worth checking out Christie’s latest en- hancement to the Velvet Apex Series. The Apex 0.9mm LED video wall is available in ultra-fine pixel pitches from 0.9mm to 2.5mm and features a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Apex 0.9 is a 0.96 mm pitch LED that delivers amazing colours, with brightness at high unifor- mity. The new offering allows for scaling to popular resolutions, in a smaller square metre area, as well as reducing optimum and minimum viewing distances.

NEC Display Solutions Europe (5-R20) will showcase its latest dis- play technologies at ISE 2018, with a special focus on solutions for retail signage, large venues and corporate conferencing. Uniquely scal- able to super-sizes for a truly immersive visual experience, it is designed for commercial, automotive, retail and entertainment experiences. The display offers corner-to-corner image uniformity for both brightness and colour, and can achieve viewing angles of virtually 180 degrees. It also produces imagery with 10-bit colour depth, has a brightness of 1000 cd/m2 (1000 nits) and a wide colour gamut of approximately 140% of sRGB.
