Vivitek appoints Stampede Vivitek has announced that
it has appointed Stampede to distribute its NovoConnect family in the UK. Stampede’s appointment is effective im- mediately and it joins Vivitek’s other NovoConnect distributor partners in the UK.

partner on training Ascentae has signed a partner- ship agreement with user adop- tion and training specialists, Instrui. The agreement will see Instrui support Ascentae’s reseller and customer network with specialist training on Nureva’s Span solution. Instrui is the first UK-based approved training organisation for Nure- va Span and as Ascentae is the exclusive UK distributor of Nureva’s creative collaboration solutions.

NEC acquires IT services company
NEC Corporation has acquired UK-based IT services company Northgate Public Services Lim- ited (NPS), accelerating the ex- pansion of its international safety business. NEC is buying NPS for GBP 475 million from leading international private equity firm Cinven. This acquisition is ex- pected to be completed by the end of this month.
Established in 1969, Northgate Public Services develops soft- ware and services for the public sector, mainly in the UK, and employs approximately 1,400 software engineers throughout the UK and India. NPS works closely with the British police and government organizations to deploy its business platform across a broad client base that includes local police forces, tax collection offices, social security offices and housing authorities. techniques. NEC will also promote NPS' solutions for police operations and public housing management solutions to markets outside the UK. NEC focuses on the provision of social solutions and is strength- ening the safety business as a key pillar in its growth strategy. These measures are expected to contribute to the expansion of the social solutions business and improve profitability cantered on the safety business.
