Toshiba projects strong annual revenue growth
Toshiba Europe GmbH (ISE 3-C120) has more than doubled its range of active digital signage display and commercial TV models, over the past 12 months, from 16 to 36, many of which will be on display at ISE 2018 alongside yet-to-be-announced prod- ucts. Toshiba is
also announcing am-
bitious growth targets ahead of the event, as it aims to double year-on- year revenues in FY18. This follows a successful year, in which the company increased its number of active part- ners across Europe by 75 per cent year-on-year and expanded into new territories with projects in the Middle East, the Far East and Africa. Contin- ued territory expansion is projected to account for up to 25 per cent of reve- nues in the coming year.
Embedded signage models, devel- oped in co-operation with partners, including M4B, SignStix, Deneva, Red-V and Assinfonet, were responsi- ble for delivering one-fifth of revenues in 2017, and collaboration with sys- tem integrators and software hous- es will remain a priority for the year ahead. This combination of a strong existing customer base and an in- creased portfolio of SoC-based prod- ucts is expected to deliver 75 per cent of revenues in 2018.
Such products, including the 24/7 TD-P3 large screen UHD series, 24/7 TD-Q3 high brightness series, and TD- Y3 videowall series, will be on display at ISE, demonstrating the breadth of Toshiba’s embedded signage propo- sition.
“ISE 2018 marks an exciting time for us as we celebrate our fifth year in the European business display

SiliconCore Technology (10-S155) will showcase its new Z.A.C.H driver technology at ISE 2018. This exclusive technology gives SiliconCore displays market-leading dynamic range and colour reproduction. Z.A.C.H. - which stands for Z(Impedance) Adjustment for Colour Homogeneity - technology embedded to accurately detect im- pedance variations of each LED and applies an adjustment compensation. This means a marked improvement in grey scale linearity for greater de- tails in the shadows with a much higher dynamic range and wider colour gamut to be able to take advantage of the many flavours of HDR content being viewed on the screen. When combined with SiliconCore’s exclusive low power Common Cathode Technology (CCT), a
4K screen with the Z.A.C.H LED driver can achieve uniform maximum bright- ness of over 1,800 Nits and minimum brightness under 0.1 Nits. The effective dynamic range is over 18,000 to one or
