‘I started using the Staff Absence Management (SAM) software two years ago to bring some structure to the way staff absence was dealt with. Prior to SAM, the absence process took up a lot of my time, inputting the same information into multiple places and creating a lot of unnecessary paperwork! Now all I have to do is upload it from SIMS into SAM and the rest is done for me. The only paperwork I have now is the initial absence form.
