Dr. Kimberly Samano received her B.S. in Health Science and obtained her M.S. in forensic science while working at NMS Labs. Interested in further pursuing


a career in the field of toxicology, she earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology with an emphasis on synthetic cannabinoid research. Dr. Samano completed a forensic toxicology post-doctoral fellowship at Quest Diagnostics in Lenexa, Kansas in 2016 and currently serves as a Scientific Director. She oversees technical operations for the analysis and review of routine urine, oral fluid


and hair drugs of abuse testing. Her other interests include providing continuing educa- tion of technical and supervisory staff, and contributing to the forensic toxicology field through presentations and additions to the scientific literature.


Since joining Quest Diagnos- tics in 2007, Aaron Atkinson has enjoyed a number of marketing, communications, and product management roles. Today he’s the Director


of Marketing and leads teams responsible for content marketing and analytics. Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Com- munications from Graceland University and a Master of Business Administration from Iowa State University.
