Select World Championship Show, pre- sented by Adequan®
That’s a wrap on the 2017 AQHA . AQHA Select ex-
hibitors from the United States, Canada, Costa Rica and Belgium competed for 44 world championship titles August 25 - September 2 at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo.
More than 730 horses and 545 ex- hibitors competed in western, English and halter events with more than 1,090 entries in these events. In addition to Lev- el 3 classes, the top three Super Select and Adequan® Level 2 competitors were also recognized within each class. Action at the Tri-State Fairgrounds continued outside of the arena, too! The Hall of Fame Exhibitor Party was host- ed at the American QH Hall of Fame & Museum. There was also a Luau Exhib- itor Party, which was hosted by Ken and Laina Banks and Victor Wolf. AQHA Professional Horsemen vol-
unteered their time to give free Ride the Pattern clinics, presented by Nutrena. These clinics gave exhibitors and specta- tors the perfect opportunity to learn how AQHA Professional Horsemen would approach a specific 2017 Adequan Select World class or pattern. Thanks in part to Nutrena’s generosity to match the amount donated at the Ride the Pattern clinics, the Professional Horsemen Crisis Fund raised more than $6,780.
