Autumn fun at the Rainforest
Described as a hidden gem, the Living Rainforest is an educational charity with a popular ecological visitor centre based near Newbury which attracts over 85,000 visitors a year. Visitors get a unique rainforest experience, with over 700 plant and animal species, including some rare and endangered. There is always a chance to spot free ranging birds, lizards and butterflies and for the lucky few, a chance to catch a glimpse of their free ranging sloth. Throughout the autumn half term they will be doing Halloween activities; ghostly music workshops, talks about spiders, rodents and things that go bump in the night! Also visitors can sign up for free guided tours, and ask friendly and knowledgeable guides about the grisly side of the rainforest. W:
