Kids get to go free for a day of exciting horse racing and military themed family fun at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 28th October. Alongside seven thrilling Flat races, families can look forward to interactive military displays, face painting and selfie opportunities with Harry the

On Saturday 21st October from 9am-1pm, head out to Woolley Estate, Wantage where you can relax and enjoy watching magnificent shire horses, steam engines and vintage and modern tractors competing for top spot in each of their competitions. To keep little ones amused, there are children’s activities and tractors to sit on, a donkey sanctuary, a tasty hog roast and refreshments available throughout the morning. Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday at Ascot
The Jumps Season starts with a bang as Ascot Racecourse holds its annual Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday on Saturday 4th November. Gather friends and family to enjoy Ascot’s first meeting of the 2017/18 Jumps season, featuring the £100,000 Sodexo Gold Cup Chase over three miles. Racing is followed by one of the region’s largest Fireworks Spectaculars, plus the Plaza Lawns will come alive throughout the afternoon with free fairground rides until 4pm, £1 per ride thereafter (all proceeds go to local charities).
