BROCKMANS BERRY FRESH
What could be better for a gin that brims with fresh berry notes than a ‘Berry Fresh’ cocktail?
The next Autumn 2017 cocktail to be launched by the makers of the ‘gin like no other’ – Brockmans – is the Brockmans Berry Fresh. It nods to a Cosmopolitan, but is rather a deluxe and perhaps more enticing version of that modern classic.
Cocktail ingredients should never compete
with the main event. They should be the support act. Brockmans Gin includes blueberries, blackberries, bitter-sweet Valencian orange peel, lemon peel, angelica, and coriander. Adding the delicious orange taste of Triple Sec, along with the sharpness of lemon juice and then introducing another berry
taste in the form of cranberry juice creates a brilliant combination.
Completing the recipe with notes of allspice and the freshness that comes from a mix of winter berries gives this concoction a depth of flavour that tastes complex whilst being simple to create and serve.
Ingredients:
• 40ml Brockmans • 20ml Triple Sec • 15ml Lemon Juice • 25ml Cranberry Juice • 10ml (1 Bar Spoon) Allspice Dram • Frozen Winter-Berries

Shake all ingredients together in an ice-filled cocktail shaker; strain into a tumbler of crushed ice layered with frozen winter-berries then top with a little more crushed ice. Garnish: Top with a few more frozen winter-berries
