Wedding Card

Congratulate the newlyweds in a heartfelt way with this sentimental handmade card.

YOU WILL NEED • 300gm Iridescent white card • Acetate • Bride & Groom Decoupage • Flower arch background • Spotty embossed card • Embellishment pack • Sentiment and border peel off • Double-sided tape or glue • 3D glue gel

All the above items are available from Craft Corner

METHOD

1. Cut 3 pieces of white card: one 8” by 5.5”, a second piece 2” by 5.5” and the third piece 7” by 5.5”.

2. Cut a piece of acetate 8” by 5.5”.

3. Using tape attach the arch background sheet to the largest piece of white card.

4. Using double-sided tape join the acetate to the background across the top.

5. Score and fold in half the smallest piece of white card and, using the picture as a guide, stick across the top of the card.

6. To make the base score the final piece of card at 3”, 4” and 5”, folding into valley and mountain folds to resemble a W. Attach this to the base of the card.

7. Cover front base with a piece of embossed spotty card 2” by 5.5”.

8. Make up the Bride & Groom decoupage and lining up with the background arch, adhere to the acetate front using 3D glue gel.

9. Finish with your embellishments, wedding sentiment and border.

Your Wedding card is now finished and will fit into a C5 envelope.
