AWARDS PROPERTY COAST
SOUTH
Prestigious titles honouring top real-estate professionals
Within just two years the South Coast Property Awards has become a not-to- be-missed event in property professionals’ diaries, announced David Murray publisher of The Business Magazine, as he welcomed finalists and guests to the gala awards function at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl
“It has become quickly acknowledged as the region’s key awards dinner for the property sector, a celebration of all that’s best in property – both commercial and residential – and a recognition of some of the key deals, developments and people of the past year.”
With 15 prestigious awards being presented and 350 guests attending, the South Coast Property Awards event was “testament to the vibrancy of the local property sector – and the wealth of agents, developers, consultants, and professionals who work in the sector and operate in this region”.
From business parks to builders; shopping complexes to science campuses, regeneration projects to residential homes; property law to client service; workplace environments to architectural excellence – each had come under the astute assessment of the SCPA judging panel, which Murray thanked wholeheartedly.
He was also quick to acknowledge the support of the South Coast Property Awards sponsors – Ashville Group, Barton Willmore, Blake Morgan, CBRE, CoStar, Dutton Gregory, Lambert Smith Hampton, McCarthy & Stone, NatWest, Pegasus Group, Smith & Williamson, Support on the Spot, and Trethowans.
The Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth Property Associations were also thanked for embracing the awards and encouraging their members’ participation, as was CoStar for collating commercial data to assist judging decisions.
BBC political pollster and programme presenter Jeremy Vine delighted the audience with some personal insights of his broadcasting career and ensured the evening ran smoothly and entertainingly in his guest host role.
One of the evening’s winners was known in advance – the event’s chosen charity of the night. The Rainbow Centre, which helps children and adults with cerebral palsy, MS, Parkinsons, stroke and head injury to lead more active independent and full lives, received a cash-boost of £3,355 donated by generous South Coast property Awards attendees.
