Celebrating over 200 Members, 3 Years and over $80,000 of Giving to 12 Local Charities!

ctober will mark 3 years since Deb Bergeron, a certifi ed personal and professional coach and founder of Ocean of
Possibilities, started the Southern Maine Chapter of 100+ Wom- en Who Care. In those 3 years, the members of this chapter have donated more than $80,000 to 12 local non-profi t organizations. Based on the organization 100+ Who Care, the Southern Maine chapter is 1 of 350 chapters around the world. Deb Bergeron, start- ed this chapter because she is passionate about giving back to the community in which she grew up and raised her family. She saw this as a way to bring together a group of local women who are interested in supporting our communities by contributing to South- ern Maine charities together as a group to increase the impact.
In celebration of their 3-year anniversary, they will hold a special silent auction at their next meeting on Tuesday, November 13th at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland Ave, Portland from 6:30- 7:30pm. Registration begins at 5:45, with time for networking, appetizers and a cocktail before the meeting. Donations of items are requested for the silent auction and all money raised will be donated to a local non-profi t organization selected at the meeting. Non-members are welcome to attend the event and women who would like to become a member prior to the meeting are encour- aged to complete a membership form at their website.
