The Castle House BOUTIQUE HOTEL
The Castle House is a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet part of Hereford city, just yards from the historic cathedral.
Owned by a local farming family, Castle House has 24 individually designed luxury guest rooms, eight of which are in a separate townhouse just a few yards from the main house. The hotel's award-winning restaurant has regularly changing, seasonal menus, with much of the fresh produce grown on the family's Ballingham Hall farm's kitchen garden. Pedigree Herefords and rare breed lamb are also reared on the farm.
A popular place to eat for locals, Castle House is also famous for its afternoon teas which, in good weather, can be had in the hotel's pretty garden which leads down to the old Hereford Castle's moat. The hotel is perfect for small elegant weddings and can be hired for exclusive use. For larger events, the family's beautiful Ballingham Hall can be hired.
