Millbay launch offers festive fun at The Duke of Cornwall

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel recently welcomed regular guests and friends to an afternoon at the opening of their newly refurbished Millbay Suite, combining the event with the launch of their Christmas brochure. The hotel team spent the first few months of 2017

lovingly restoring the Millbay suite. The long function space can be divided into two – the Millbay Room and the Station Room. It is finished to the highest standard, restoring every detail including the intricate ceiling. The original windows have been restored, one of which was hidden since the 70’s behind a bookcase. The Duke of Cornwall team enjoyed

showcasing their Christmas Brochure with their loyal customers who return each year to party the night away with their teams. The stunning artwork has been designed by local artist Charlotte Atkinson, who created a successful brochure for the hotel last year. Charlotte has created several masterpieces and has impressed the hotel on numerous occasions with her work. This year’s brochure depicts several scenes from the hotel, including the magnificent ballroom, with its 1920’s style lighting and its stunning restaurant with its elegant chandelier.
