Ensuring Devon’s voice is heard


The outcome of the General Election has made it more urgent than ever for businesses to act collectively and with clarity in advocating their needs. Devon Chamber of Commerce, working with the other local Chamber’s across the County need your involvement to ensure that it can give clear messages to the new Government and other providers and influencers about what is needed to help business grow in the County. Devon Chamber will be setting up a series of regular meetings, in partnership with local


Chambers, with the County’s new MPs, to ensure they are briefed about what is important and what is needed. This is vital as the Government starts Brexit negotiations. The Chamber is fortunate that its hard working Chairman, Richard Stevens has been appointed to the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership Board. Richard also needs to be fully briefed in your needs and concerns to ensure that the right messages can be fed back. It is likely that in the future there will be a need to advocate developments as a ‘South
