Expanded options for marine forklifts

T

he expansion of its innovative Hydro M-Drive range of marine forklifts has recently been announced by Marine Travelift

Inc. Increased capacities and shorter wheelbase options are giving customers the ability to grow their business through lowered maintenance costs and increased precision and effi ciency. The hydrostatic drive system was

fi rst introduced by Marine Travelift in the mid-1990s and has since seen continuous advance as an industry exclusive. The complete Hydro M-Drive product line features capacities up to 52,000 lb and larger, and carries the same tried-and-true technologies. These additional capacities, together

with shorter wheel base options, ensure the right fi t for any size marina. The redesign of the easy-

access engine compartment, plus the advantages of the innovative hydrostatic drive, delivers the continued productivity that customers demand. Improved mobility and manoeuvrability are just a few of the benefi ts designed to ensure the Hydro M-Drive forklift achieves peak performance. In a previous notice from Marine

Travelift published in the February, 2017, issue of MER’s sister magazine Marina Asia-Pacifi c, the company announced that marinas and boatyards around the world are benefi ting from increased effi ciencies as a result of Marine

EVA dock fender

The profile of the Mega 1-600 fender for floating pontoons and landing docks made of concrete was conceived by InMare Srl to provide a high level of protection to vessels when space is limited. This fender is particularly suitable for protecting the entire perimeter of a harbour, including slipways and refuelling stations, and its versatility enables installation in either horizontal, vertical or diagonal positions. It can be used to protect boats up to a maximum length of 82 ft weighing 80 tons. Manufactured from a special

compound of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), which is non-toxic and environmentally-friendly, the fender is resistant to UV radiation, stain-proof, does not scratch the hulls of moored boats and will not deteriorate even if submerged in seawater for long periods. The standard colour is blue, but other colours can be supplied subject to a minimum quantity being ordered. InMare Srl info@inmare.net www.inmare.net
