In their 5th year of trading from their beautiful location on Friar Street, The Hat House is warm and welcoming to all clients.


Taking inspiration from the garden and season, you’ll always find something new and different on each visit. Until now the focus wedding wise has always been on the mother of bride and groom... but now brides are starting to ask for advice on ‘an alternative adornment for their head!’ ..... and so their concept for their bridal range developed!


They have opened a new consultation area, situated in the studio at the back of the shop, accessed via the courtyard – an area for trying on Bridal Headpieces and a space where they can work closely with hairstyle specialists who can advise on styles to work with the individual head pieces.


So whilst all this is new and exciting, they still love to work with each individual to ensure they meet each event with enthusiasm to create the perfect hat for your occasion.


Whether it be demure or outrageous, they can work with you to achieve your goal. They also stock the most beautiful pashminas in pure silk or cashmere blend as well as luxury hosiery, occasion bags and wonderful umbrellas for all occasions. They hope to see you soon!
