Over 300 performers took to the stage at Symphony Hall for a 'fusion of music and dance'.
The concert, produced by Leigh Perry Principal of DMSMusic Academy, was a triumph.
From rock to classical, The Beatles to Bruno Mars, pupils and teachers from DMS accompanied by dancers, choirs and an amazing line-up of celebrity guests rocked the hall alongside co-host and legend Bev Bevan and special guests Richard and Adam (classical brothers) of BGT. Ed Sheeran & Coldplay Dame Laura Davies
Support new Worcestershire charity... Two of the world’s biggest music acts are supporting new Worcestershire charity, The Mockingbird Trust, which will help children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Ed Sheeran, has got creative and painted a fun self-portrait for the charity, while Coldplay have donated a guitar signed by the whole band, along with VIP tickets to any of their concerts. Music fans will have the chance to bid for the items at the charity’s official launch; The Mockingbird Ball, which is taking place near Great Witley on June 24th or by visiting the charity’s website. to Play The British Par 3 Championship Dame Laura Davies and Trish Johnson will be making their debuts at this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship which runs from 8th – 11th August. A winner of over 80 tournaments, including four majors in a glittering 32-year professional career, and with seven Ladies European Tour Order of Merit victories to her name, Dame Laura is regarded as the greatest English woman golfer of all time. Tony Jacklin CBE will host the event for the 10th year running which will be broadcast on Sky Sports 4 and Sky Sports Mix. More big golfing and celebrity names to be announced later.
