That successful mission is quite an invigorating experience, prompting the eclectic group to form a Robin Hood like crime syndicate, which steal furs and gives the proceeds to charity. Gardens in the Wild Festival, Whitfield Estate, Herefordshire Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th June, 9.30am-4pm The event will be held at a manor house in beautiful parkland, which visitors are free to explore. There are many remarkable trees, a large walled garden and glasshouses, magnificent topiary and newly re-designed borders in the formal garden. A particular theme this year is the search for the sublime.
