Yoga Nanda Launches Mentorship Program for Yoga Teachers
T
he Yoga Nanda Mentorship Program is designed to help you continue
your journey of discovery by cultivating personal clarity and growth in teaching style, knowledge and communication. This program will further your founda- tional experience to build confidence and hone your teaching skills. In keep- ing with its mission, Yoga Nanda offers mentorships that focus on a variety of schools of thought to enable you to choose the lineage that resonates per- sonally with you.
Space is limited to a maximum of
two students per mentor per three-month session. The program is customized to address the unique intentions of the participant’s desired curriculum, whether it be advanced sequencing, philosophy, verbal cuing, hands-on assists, subtle body, or a little bit of each. Your indi- vidualized criteria will be determined in the initial consultation.
The one-on-one mentorship will run over a course of three months and includes:
n Initial consultation meeting to deter- mine intentions and goals
n Monthly hour-long private customized meetings with mentor
n Independent readings and study assignments
n Assisting and adjusting in your mentor’s classes (two-four per month)
n Teaching a community class once a month
n Professional consultation with studio owner
n Private practice session with mentor once a month
