Moving on, we headed to the English Channel and over to the gorgeous island of Guernsey, where we stayed in the only five-star hotel on the island, the Old Government House Hotel, which is also a Red Carnation property. We stayed here for two days and were treated like royalty. We even had the opportunity to cook with the head chef for one of our evening meals. It involved making our own version of an apple crumble, which we ate as our dessert at the evening meal. It was another great touch that only Insight Luxury Gold could deliver. After our Guernsey adventure we headed to the French coast and visited the medieval town of Saint-Malo. Dining options for our evening meal
