KUONI LAUNCHES RANGE OF WELLBEING HOLIDAYS

Kuoni has launched a range of health and wellbeing holidays, designed to improve everything from sleep to general health. The operator has partnered with Wellbeing Escapes to create the programme. A team of Kuoni personal travel experts has been trained to advise customers about holidays that focus on different aspects of health and wellbeing, such as yoga retreats, fitness boosters, stress management and detoxing. Options include stress management in the foothills of the Himalayas; discover and unwind by the lakeside in Italy; and weight-loss and detox at a luxurious retreat in Thailand. Mark Duguid, Kuoni’s commercial and product

vice-president, said: “Modern life is busy, stressful and, at times, toxic to both physical and mental health, and people are looking for a better balance. “Our research shows that holidays have become central to people’s health and happiness. That is being taken to the next level, with more customers wanting time away in beautiful and inspiring surroundings, with no distractions and expert advice on hand. “The wellness sector is one of the fastest-growing areas of the market. Where once holidays were about doing as little as possible and coming back half a stone heavier, there’s been a big shift to reflect demand for healthier lifestyles in recent years, with more resorts offering activities, fitness programmes and spas.” The collection feature more than 60 resorts, with

holidays for single travellers, couples and small groups. KUONI.CO.UK/WELLNESS-HOLIDAYS
