May is bursting at the seams with thrilling parties and events! So, let’s start them out with some vital Long Beach Pride survival tips to help you through Southern California’s first pride event of the season, Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22. A great plan for a successful Pride should
always include transportation, hydration, sustenance and sunscreen. For the fairly local: Buses, trains and your own two feet may be the best way to access the weekend festivities. If you’re traveling into Long Beach, there are a large variety of parking options and structures to accommodate your vehicles throughout the downtown area (
downtownlongbeach.org/parking). Remember please, during an all day celebration, water is your friend! Ensure you drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration in between cocktails and the next morning your body will thank you. Though many festival goers have been starving themselves for weeks to achieve a “perfect Pride body,” a hearty breakfast the morning of will save you from awkward fainting spells and dance floor burnouts.
