Shedding Light on Thyroid Conditions

r. Thomas B. Wachtmann will host a free discussion focusing on thyroid gland disorders at 6:30 p.m., November 10, at Twin Ponds Integrative Health Center, near Fogelsville. Participants will learn about new drug-free treatment advancements for addressing thyroid problems. Topics of the discussion include

symptoms of a thyroid condition, common reasons why women develop thyroid problems, how some thyroid conditions are reversible and how to determine if a doctor is doing everything possible to fix a thyroid condition. Different types of thyroid conditions, such as hypothyroid and hyperthyroid, Hashimoto’s disease, Graves’ disease and more will be explained, as well as, why some thyroid disorders are really not problems with the thyroid gland at all, but actually other problems that are overlooked.
