he 33rd annual Olde Time Christmas Festival will be held December 4, 5, 12 and 13, in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, where guests will experience the spirit of Christmas past. The Victorian village nestled in the foothills


of the Pocono Mountains and decorated in Dickensian style will captivate the imagination of the whole family with Santa, strolling carolers, characters and musicians. Santa’s arrival on a fire truck, along with the tree lighting ceremony at Josiah White Park kicks off the festival at 6 p.m., December 4. Throughout Olde Time Christmas, attendees will enjoy train rides, a gingerbread house display at the Dimmick Memorial Library, 54 Broadway, entertainment at the gazebo, ticketed holiday concerts and shows at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, evening Rotary GhostWalks, a scavenger hunt, Bach & Handel chorale Christmas concerts and 500 Crèches on display. Shop- ping is made easy at 35 unique shops including Naturally Yours, The Organic Shop, along with 12 Restaurants and the Big Creek Vinyard Tasting Room.
