Palm Canyon Dr. will be closed to traffic and transformed into a vibrant, pedestrian friendly Pride Festival, unique to Southern California. Enjoy a diverse array of artists, entertainers, multiple beverage gardens and purveyors of all sorts including, jewelry, snacks and sweets. Add all that to great shopping restaurants, clubs and entertainment venues located along world-famous Palm Canyon Dr. and the result is like no place else – Palm Springs Pride.
Festival highlights include: US Bank stage, Tahquitz stage, the Infusion Beach & Hotel Big-ass amazingly awesome homosexual sheep DJ stage, PNN DJ stage, Pride Stage at HooDoo, Souleil Dance tent and the Karaoke Stage. The festival will feature full concert performances by 10,000 Maniacs, Frankmusik, the London based pop artist, American Idol Finalist & pop artist David Hernandez, Candis Cayne, Los Angeles based synth pop band DWNTWN, DJ Casey Alva, local pop artist Blake Lansing, Avant Americana genre-bending good time band the Evangenitals, big beat alternative rock band Lunden Reign, GayC/DC the world’s only all-gay tribute to AC/DC, and the rising LA-based pop singer/ songwriter Wrabel.
The two-day lineup features live performances by soulful pop artist Marcella Detroit former Shakespear’s Sister, emerging artist Sam Tolson and the DJ Baz show “Cuban Nights”. The incomparable Irene Soderberg returns to the Pride stage as does techno-pop, Seattle singer Jack Mozie. Special appearances include the former local resident, Brian Scott who has always been a favorite across the Valley with his hugely popular country voice, and the modern music
