EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES Arkansas State University MOUNTAIN HOME Arkansas State University Mountain Home
is a public two-year campus of the Arkansas State University System, primarily serving students in north central Arkansas. ASUMH serves an enrollment of approxi-
mately 1,500 students each semester. The cam- pus is located within minutes of two beautiful freshwater lakes and rivers that feature great fishing and water sports opportunities. ASUMH offers associate of arts degrees,
associate of science degrees, associate of jjapplied sciences degrees, associate of general studies degrees, technical certificates and certificates of proficiency. ASU Jonesboro offers some bachelor’s and master’s degrees through ASUMH. Anew Technical Center was added in 2014,
serving both traditional students and area high school students through a Secondary Center operated in the facility. More information about ASUMH is available on its website

Center is the largest building on the ASUMH campus. The 65,000-square-foot facility houses the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center, McClure Convention Center, First Security Amphitheater, Haley Family Conference Room, Ozark Regional Arts Council Confer- ence Room, Art Gallery and Dale Bumpers Great Hall, where a showing of Rembrandt etchings is on permanent display. The Sheid has brought the performing arts
to the Twin Lakes Area and featured such artists as Willie Nelson, Little Big Town, Moscow Ballet, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and other notable acts. For more information about The Sheid, visit
