that jazz violinist Mads Tolling will perform with the SRJC Jazz Combos on Wednesday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Newman Auditorium on SRJC Santa Rosa campus, lo- cated at 1501 Mendocino Avenue. Parking permits are required and available for $4 on campus lots. The Jazz Combos are directed by Bennett Friedman. Admission to the concert is $5 at the door Proceeds of the event benefi t the SRJC Foundation Jazz Studies fund. Internationally acclaimed Mads Tolling has won Grammy Awards for his work with the Tur- tle Island String Quartet on two albums. Klamner says Wavy Gravy taught her to “follow your calling and role with the punches.” She says one of her goals for the May 17th concert is to bring together three generations of people in the audience.
