rying to turn a profit is a complicated mat- ter. Ask anyone who runs a business - from the owner of the local corner store or the CEO of a large conglomerate. It takes more
than a good idea to make a successful product or service. It takes smart and careful planning, degrees of luck, the right people and favorable weather. In a way, it is similar to a football team. You might have a talented quarterback, but without a strong offensive line to protect him in the pocket and capable skilled position players for him to target, he will just become sack fodder. Depending upon how many times he’s hit by the other team, he might not even make it through one game. And this does not even take into account the value of a good defensive unit. marketing and any competitors. You’ve also got to contend with the unknown. Suddenly, you realize that running a business is much more complicated than originally expected.
