Girls do it all the time and so do guys…. Eat, Drink & Enjoy life that is. So why not bring them all together and celebrate the true art of friendship. Through the years your friends have been right by your side; you have lived, laughed and cried together and have shared more memories and life experiences than you can probably recall.
Your special day has been planned to the last detail with not much remaining to do except to spend a fun afternoon with your bridal party. For many couples this means a bridal luncheon with the girls and a day of golfing for the guys. But you are different and your friends are anything but traditional. So why not come together as you celebrate this new chapter in your life? After all, at some point you have shared all of the important
moments of your lives together and this should be no different.
We wanted our mixer to be the perfect combination of girl meets boy and all things in between. The colors were softer palettes of mint greens, peaches and corals for DIY details and décor. A simple to make and delicious to eat lunch of freshly made sliders, light appetizers and an array of beverages were served on the veranda before heading out for a competitive game of croquette. Wine spritzers and laughs were served for heartfelt toasts and photo booth fun, followed by sweet bites of special treats from our favorite bakery.
We wanted as many of the details to truly be DIY for even the smallest budget. Our table was crafted using an old door, some

table legs purchased at our local hardware store, and a fresh coat of mint green paint. We had plexiglass cut so the surface was smooth and reflective. Hand painted paper doilies hung on twine above the table to add a pop of color. Paper crafted pin wheels also hung to add a fun flair to the food table. Natural elements such as painted tree branches, artichokes with handmade place cards and paper covered coffee cans filled with fresh flowers purchased from our local florist were used in adorning our table. Our photo booth was kept simple using vintage drapes found at a nearby thrift store with handmade and store bought props that are sure to make even the most serious of friends to chuckle. No matter your budget with a little imagination and crafting your bridal party mixer is sure to create new and lasting memories.
