NEW PARTY MODEL FROM CATALINA Catalina Spas has launched a new 12ft party/exercise spa, based on the design of their popular 12ft swim spa and plunge pool. The new model features bench seating plus three hydrotherapy seats meaning it can seat up to 11 people. The new spa comes equipped with one river swim jet, two high flow pumps, pro swim system, exercise kit and an industry leading 10 year warranty – all for under £10,000 inc VAT. Catalina Spas recently announced a first as they plan to add an automatic dosing system to their hot tub ranges.
EUROPEAN STANDARDS FOR HOT TUBS
There’s fresh momentum for a new European Standard for domestic spas and hot tubs with up to a dozen countries being asked to provide their initial views about what information and criteria might help form the new document. BISHTA is to be involved along with representatives from France, Spain, Germany and some of the Scandinavian countries who are keen to have cross border standards agreed.

CERTIKIN RAISE PROFILE OF CANTABRIA AND CALDERA RANGE

The jets are perfectly positioned to massage right where the body stores stress, and high-performance pumps and manifold plumbing assure strong and steady water pressure at each jet.

SPA CREST LAUNCHES NEW ATLAS MODEL
Spa Crest Europe has a new hot tub on the market – the Atlas – aimed at providing a luxury tub at a more economical price.
The new hot tub is a version of Spa Crest’s multi award winning eight person Vision Hydrus, a popular and successful tub which sells for around £10,000.
The Atlas comes on to the market as a slight, light downgraded version but still with two pumps and 50 jets and with all of Spa Crest’s high production values – but sells for a more economical £7,500.
The Atlas was launched into dealers in July and has already created a lot of interest.
“We’ve already sold one in Wigan and I think it will do very well,” says Tony Welsby, Business Development Director at Spa Crest
Europe in Wigan. “Families are looking for a large hot tub with plenty of room but often can’t stretch to £10,000. This comes in quite a bit under that price range and I think will appeal to them. The Hydrus is a great product and no- one out there can touch it. This new model has all the benefits but with some slight downgrades to take it within the reach of families,” he added.
