born on April 28, 1928 in Sprott, Ala. to the late Bill and Betty Abercrom- bie Peoples. She attended Lincoln Norma High School and married Obie Goree Sr. in 1946. Shortly after, they moved to Inkster, Michigan.

employed Dualistic Plastics and ob- tained her certifi- cation in childcare and development. She worked with the Christian Faith Daycare Center and also worked for a
survived by her daughters, Marga- ret Dean, Betty Hall and Nicol Yates; two sisters, Ola Mae Watts and Sadie Mae Thompson; nine
grandchil-
dren; sister-in-law Elnoria Peoples; and a host of other relatives.

division where she was the

League. Mrs. McKinley
had a love of litera- ture, music and the arts.
